Leiser Lärm

The quartet 'double bird' (Izquierdo, Kuldkepp, Lewandowski, Mayer) met in between Hamburg and Berlin and started to play together in 2019. Even though coming together with different backgrounds and playing styles we share similar ideas about improvisation, spaces for music to happen and love towards the art we do. Composed of voice, double bass, cello and trombone, our quartet creates unique musical landscapes mixed with experimental playing techniques and multiplicity of voices. In the summer of 2021 our first album ‘Favourite Galaxy’ will be released.
